Here is our Traveling Setup

As you will see from this clip Outback Mpg The Subaru Outback is quite capable in the sandy and rough conditions of Fraser Island.

The Car is a Subaru Outback H6, which we have had a lift kit, and heavy duty springs installer which has raised the clearance by three inches and increased the approach angle from 18 to 26 degrees, we have also added an alloy crash panel to protect the sump of the engine.

We have also added the roof pod which expands the storage capacity by about 100%.

Installed in the back is a secondary deep cycle sealed battery which is dedicated to running the Quirks Eutectic Autofridge.

The Camper is a Complete Campsite 4x4 camper trailer which is based on a 7 x 4 Box trailer. The tent is a 13oz Canvas with main compartment being 7 Foot x 16 foot long with an 8 x 16 annex with full canvas walls and mesh windows.

Inside the tent we have the Queen Sized innerspring mattress from our ben at home, so comfort is not compromised, and we have partitioned off a 6 x 7 foot are for Benjamin's porta-cot.

Additional features of the trailer are 60 litre stainless steel water tank, 12V lighting and a Drifta camp kitchen mounted to the rear tailgate.
