Whoops we are in Glasgow now

Well it has been a while since I got the motivation to update this page, so I have probably lost your attention, so here is a quick up date to bring you up to speed with our travels.

The structure of the site has been changed to reflect the four main stages of the trip, Australia; New Zealand (and Fiji); Canada; & Europe, plus a new and updated Benjamin Page.

Canada

We are coming to the end of our adventure through Western Canada from Calgary Alberta, up through Grand Praire, and into Dawson Creek in British Columbia. We then traversed through to Prince Rupert, which has the claim of being the wettest place in British Columbia, and the third wettest in Canada. It is also the leaving point for ferries to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island via the inside passage, as well as the ferries to the Queen Charlotte Islands and up to Alaska.

We spent 10 days on Vancouver Island then headed off to Whistler, then back to Vancouver, Kamloops and then the Okanagan Valley, then into the Kootenays, then back through the Rockies to Calgary.

On our way to Canada we stopped for a week in Fiji to visit Steve and Sandy and Matthew and Jessica.

New Zealand

Prior to Heading to Fiji we had four months in New Zealand where we had Christmas with my Mum and Dad before spending a little over a month in the South Island, then back to the Homestead for the Birthdays (Mums Sixtieth and my 36th)

Margaret's Mum, Gerry, then joined us and we spent a couple of weeks getting to Auckland to send Gerry home, then up to the top of the North Island for a week around the Bay of Islands etc. We then headed back to Wellington to prepare for our return to Sydney before the change of Hemispheres.
